Terms of use

1. The service

Dubiv is an on-demand car-care app for the UAE. You add a vehicle, type where it is parked, choose a service, and a crew attends that address. Exterior work does not require you to be present if the car is accessible. Interior work needs cabin access.

Coverage is intended for Dubai and, as we expand, other emirates listed in the app. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 09:00–22:00. Sunday, night, and extreme-heat jobs move to the next open slot.

2. First wash

Your first exterior wash booked through the official Dubiv app is complimentary (AED 0). You receive that wash, then decide whether to book again. The offer is one per local account on a device, does not cover add-ons, maintenance, detailing, or later visits, and may be refused for abuse, false addresses, or no-shows.

3. Bookings and cancellation

You must type the address accurately and keep access possible. You may cancel until the crew is en route. After that, contact support@dubiv.com. A no-show may forfeit the first-wash offer.

4. Payment — no App Store purchases

Washes are a real-world service consumed outside the app. This version has no in-app checkout, no Apple Pay, no card capture, and no digital goods. Amounts due are paid in cash to the crew after the wash.

A complimentary first exterior wash requires a confirmed booking from the local account on your phone. Glow plan fees, if you opt in, are also collected in cash with the crew. They are discounts on real-world washes, not an auto-renewing App Store subscription and not a charge inside the app.

Prices are in AED and may include VAT when a TRN is issued.

5. Your account

The account lives on this phone. We do not require a number, email, or password. You may log out or delete the account at any time in Settings. Deletion is offered in the app as required by App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v). We may refuse service that abuses the first-wash offer, harasses crew, or uses false addresses.

6. Acceptable use

Use the app only to book vehicle care in the UAE. Do not harass crew, submit false locations, or use the service for anything unlawful under UAE law.

7. Liability

Report existing damage before work starts. You are responsible for items left in the vehicle and for access instructions. These terms do not limit liability that UAE law does not allow a business to limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that cannot be excluded.

8. Apple, Google, and third parties

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the Dubiv service, bookings, crew, or cash collection. If the iOS app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the app purchase price (the app is free). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled under the Privacy policy at https://www.dubiv.com/privacy. The app does not request GPS; you type the wash address.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts of Dubai have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights that cannot be waived.
